Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Training data is stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite databases
  • Cloud Backup: Data is securely synced to Supabase (hosted on AWS) with end-to-end encryption
  • Authentication: We use secure PKCE authentication flow with session tokens
  • Access Control: Row-level security policies ensure you can only access your own data

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
  • Apple/Google: Payment processing (App Store / Play Store)
  • Analytics Providers: Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for providing services to us.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will permanently delete all personal information and training data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain information for tax or legal purposes.

Tripath is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located in different countries. By using Tripath, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during international transfers.
