Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
When will Tripath be available?
We're currently in development and planning to launch in 2026. Join our waitlist to be notified as soon as the app is available for download.
What platforms will Tripath support?
Tripath will be available on both iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. You'll be able to download it from the App Store and Google Play Store.
Do I need experience with triathlons to use Tripath?
No! Tripath is designed for everyone from complete beginners to experienced triathletes. Our onboarding process assesses your current fitness level and creates a plan that matches where you are right now.
What information do I need to provide?
We'll ask for your target race distance and date, current fitness abilities (recent run time, swim pace, bike FTP or estimate), and your weekly training availability. This takes about 5 minutes to complete.
Training Plans
What race distances does Tripath support?
We currently support Sprint (750m/20km/5km), Olympic (1.5km/40km/10km), and Half Ironman (1.9km/90km/21.1km) distances. Full Ironman support is planned for a future update.
How far in advance should I start my training plan?
We recommend 12-16 weeks for Sprint distance, 16-20 weeks for Olympic, and 20-24 weeks for Half Ironman. However, our algorithm can adapt to whatever time you have available - even shorter timelines.
Can I adjust my plan if my schedule changes?
Yes! Your training availability is flexible. If your schedule changes, you can update your weekly availability and your plan will adapt accordingly (Premium feature).
What if I miss a workout?
Life happens! Missing a single workout isn't a disaster. Focus on hitting your key sessions (long runs, hard interval workouts). Recovery days can be skipped without major impact. For Premium users, you can request plan adjustments if you've missed multiple key sessions.
How does Tripath calculate my training paces?
We use your fitness assessment data combined with established training models (like Jack Daniels' VDOT for running) to calculate personalized pace zones. These ensure you're training at the right intensity for each workout's purpose.
Account & Billing
How does pricing work?
Tripath offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, choose between $14.99/month or $129.99/year (save $50). Subscriptions are managed through your app store (iOS or Android).
Can I use Tripath on multiple devices?
Yes! Your account and training data sync across all your devices. Log in on your phone, tablet, or any other device where you have the app installed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your app store account (Apple or Google). You can cancel anytime and will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
What's your refund policy?
Refunds are handled through your app store's refund policy. Generally, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase. Contact Apple or Google support for specific refund requests.
Technical Support
Does Tripath work offline?
Yes! Your training plan is stored locally on your device, so you can view workouts even without an internet connection. Changes sync when you're back online.
Does Tripath integrate with Strava, Garmin, or other apps?
Integration with popular fitness platforms is on our roadmap for future updates. Initially, you'll log workouts manually within Tripath.
How is my data protected?
We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your training data is private and will never be sold to third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time.
What are the minimum device requirements?
iOS: iPhone running iOS 14 or later. Android: Devices running Android 10 or later. The app works on both phones and tablets.
