How Tripath Training Works

Schedule-First Approach

During onboarding, you select which days you can swim, bike, and run each week. Our algorithm assigns workouts only to days when you're available.

You also pick preferred days for your long run and long bike - typically weekends when you have more time. No more cramming 2-hour rides into Tuesday mornings.

Fitness-Based Pacing

You enter your current run PB (5K, 10K, half, or full marathon), swim 100m time, and bike FTP. From these, we calculate personalized training zones.

Every workout shows target paces specific to YOUR fitness level - not generic "moderate pace" advice.

Science-Backed Periodization

Our generateWorkouts algorithm calculates Base, Build, Peak, and Taper phases from today through your race date. Weekly volume increases progressively based on your experience level.

Workout types (Endurance, Intervals, Tempo, Long) are assigned strategically to develop aerobic base, lactate threshold, and race-specific fitness.

Offline-First Mobile App

Built with React Native, your plan is stored locally via SQLite. Access workouts anytime without internet. Changes sync to Supabase cloud when you're online.

Multi-device sync means you can review your plan on your tablet and track workouts on your phone.

Tripath Training was created by triathletes frustrated with rigid training plans that didn't fit real life. We've trained through job changes, cross-country moves, and unpredictable schedules.

The app combines our triathlon racing experience with technical backgrounds in software engineering, data science, and mobile development. We built the training tool we needed but couldn't find.

From the workout generation algorithms to the offline-first mobile architecture, every decision was made to solve real problems we've experienced as age-group triathletes.
